Flexibility and universal design was key to the success of this project. When WHA was commissioned to design the project, the school believed it would only use it four times a year. In reality, it gets used most weeks for assemblies, musical and dramatic performances and community events and meetings.

Eight new classrooms, amenities and staff areas were built as part of a wider site master plan. Expression of structure provides an educative focus for the users of the building, and clear unobstructed views into the surrounding landscape create an outward looking building.
